1. I have been in Vietnam for the past 12 days. We started in Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon), then headed to Hoi An and finished up in Hanoi. It was VERY hectic but a great experience.

We got him today! He's a Maltese X Poodle X Cavalier and he's perfect! I've never had a dog before. Only cats, until I found out I was allergic to them. I am in **LOVE** with him.
3. Look what I found at Singapore airport!
Needless to say, I purchased it! Hello, new school bag!!!
4. I have been accepted into University to complete my Masters in Education, majoring in Studies of Literacy. I'm taking it slow and only doing 1 subject per semester at this stage, as I will still be teaching full time. I am very excited though!!!
5. I am heading into my classroom on Monday to begin painting windows to fit my Dr Seuss theme for my new school year (here in Australia our school year goes from the end of January to half way through December...we get lots of holidays throughout the year).
I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Stay tuned for pictures and some projects I'll be completing over the next few days.

Wow! Vietnam sounds fantastic! I really really want a puppy (allergic to cats too....), we have just bought a house and are in the process of moving so hopefully soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at school - Dr Suess sounds fantastic - can't wait for the pixs!

Looks like you had a great time in Vietnam, (on my never ending list of places to visit). We had 5 puppies last year they were so funny, so cute but I was glad when they went to their new homes (there was ALOT of poo from 5 puppies!) Have fun with Dr Suess

I went to Vietnam 3 years ago and loved it. Isn't Hoi An the prettiest place? Did you get any tailoring done?
ReplyDeleteI'm going into school on Monday too to decorate - my theme this year is primary colours and apples. I like your Dr Suess theme too, can't wait to see pics of it!
I love your cute dog. I am such a doggy person. I lost my dog a couple of years ago and I was so devastated ~ she was my 'baby'. I can't bring myself to get another one.
ReplyDeleteVietnam looks great. The temple looks amazing. I think I'll put it on my list.
I can't believe it's back to school. The holidays go so quickly!
